ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

We are experimenting with a product called Plasti Dip (a synthentic rubber coating) on oversized toothbrushes that children use to practice brushing on an oversized mouth.
The current toothbrushes we use are very hard plastic and are damaging the mouth (chipped teeth and all!).
The toothbrushes we have are great, just really hard. The idea is that if the brush has a softer rubber coating, it most likely won't damage the mouth when children hit the mouth with the brush.

Anyone use this product (or a similar one) in an exhibit setting? I'm curious the longevity and am concerned about chipping of rubber (which then creates another whole host of issues).

Many thanks in advance,
Sheri
