You may want to try to get a spokesperson to appear on local TV and
radio, talking about just what "a million" means with colorful examples:
a million kisses, a million trees, a million frames of film . . . (most
likely that last one equals all three films (6 or 7 hours) of "The Lord
of the Rings".

Hi,

We are expecting our millionth visitor in the next couple of weeks and
are
holding competitions over the current school holidays. We have some
amazing
prizes (family holidays etc) that came through at the last minute so we
couldn't do a big lead up marketing campaign. Our problem is that no one
seems to know about the competition and we have virtually no marketing
budget left.

What we currently have is:

1. Our generic TV ad with banner text explaining the competition.

2. Banners outside (they just say 'prizes' though rather than the
extent).

3. Ads in community papers

4. Some radio mentions

5. Posters in libraries and 1 mall.

In our previous surveys 30% of our visitors found out about us through
TV.
We are not sure why its' not working now.

Has anyone got any ideas for instant marketing campaigns?

Thanks in advance,

Amy
