Just a nit picking correction. The creator of a work (photo, a piece 
of writing, etc) always own copyright  Unless the photographer took 
the photo as your employee or explicitly transferred copyright (as in 
a work for hire contract or by selling you the copyright), the 
photographer owns the photo. Illustrators often sell copyright, but 
photographers are more likely to keep the copyright and license a 
limited, clearly defined use.
