ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.
*****************************************************************************

We (FI and GSUSA) developed a program, funded by NSF, called Girls At the Center. It was initially created to encourage family involvement in girls' science learning - targeting families not historically involved as museum visitors or Girl Scouts, but the program itself, now a published resource, is useful in co-ed situations as well (family programs in museums, PTO sponsored events as schools, Teens with youth, etc.). Happy to talk further off-line, but the resource itself addresses some of these questions and offers science workshops in Spanish and English that can be ordered @ http://www.fi.edu/gac/
