ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

During the 1980s and early 1990s, Floor Staff Aides (paid staff) and Volunteers, at Pittsburgh's original Buhl Planetarium and Institute of Popular Science (1939-1991), both wore white lab coats which included the Buhl insignia.

Decades earlier, male Floor Staff members wore blazers with a necktie, while female staff members were provided blouses (made of cotton material) and were required to wear stockings. Black or tan shoes were required of all Floor Staff members. Each staff member was required to launder their own uniform.
