ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

I'm putting together a simple "try-it" for 9-12 year olds to model how
"lateral lines" (sensory organs on sharks, trout and other water critters) sense
vibrations. I was thinking about the usual activities (sugar dancing on a
drum surface when vibrations from a loud noise hits it; plucking a slinky,
etc.). But maybe someone out there has a better idea?

Thanks,

Lisa
