We are planning a science careers day and a science fair clinic for this
winter. But, we're a public library, and always free. We'll have local
scientists from academia and industry definitely for career day, and
maybe some of the science fair event as well.

Thought I would throw this question out there one more time....

What kind of free public events does any other science center out there
do? I'm talking totally free event, $0 to get in to your place (if you
normally charge admission).

If anybody does, or has done, free events at their science center, have
any of these free events promoted science professionals in the
community, and/or science careers? I appreciate any input from all
science center-techy's out there. Thanks.
