Hi ASTC -

Just in time for Earth Day - get involved with Pennies for the Planet<http://www.penniesfortheplanet.org/>! Pennies for the Planet is an opportunity for kids to get involved in conservation locally, to learn more about threatened species and habitat, and to raise money to support three critical national conservation programs: Project Puffin and the Seabird Restoration Project off the Maine coast, Four Holes Swamp/Francis Beidler Forest in South Carolina, and Wyoming's sagebrush "sea".

Visit www.penniesfortheplanet.org<http://www.penniesfortheplanet.org/> to download or request Pennies for the Planet kits, which include an educator's guide, a poster, a participation form, and 24 take-home newsletters for kids. These materials can be used in any setting where kids gather to teach about the featured conservation projects, to help kids dream up creative ways to collect pennies to support the conservation of those three areas, and to give kids ideas for conserving habitats in their own communities.

This year's Pennies for the Planet campaign is made possible by support from TogetherGreen, an Audubon initiative in alliance with Toyota. Check out http://www.penniesfortheplanet.org<http://www.penniesfortheplanet.org/> or email [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> for more information.

Thanks!
