At la Cité des sciences, we made in october 2004 an exhibition (with
posters, videos and computer quizz) on "Cannabis through the scientist's
eyes". It's a type of exhibition easy to be exported, because all the
contents are on a DVD and each science center or lbrary can make itself
it own exhibition at the right size, starting form the DVD.
This exhibition is in french and in english.

We have been approached by a consortium of local social service
agencies to explore how we might work with them to increase awareness on
the dangers of methamphetamine use. This is a serious problem in our
area and in the Northwest. Is anyone aware of examples of exhibits or
programming that deal specifically with methamphetamine addiction?
The agencies we are working with are quite specific in their feeling
that they need to go beyond general drug addiction awareness and want to
consider working with a museum to explore alternative education methods.
However, I would also be interested in general addiction exhibits,
knowing that we may not be able to get that specific and still reach a
broad audience.
Thanks for any thoughts on this.
