ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Hi David,
Bruce Lewenstein post is a fascinating take on the topic. It would be
interesting to see what the influence of big data is on these different
engagement models. It seems that many of the new community programs fall
outside the range of the models mentioned in the article. Some are focused
on being more of a community resource and less on informal science
learning. Not to say that the science learning doesn't happen, but the
outcomes of many of these programs are different.
