Hi Joan!

I can share with you the bubble mixture we have found to be best:
   1 gallon distilled water
   2 cups dawn dish soap (the plain blue one - no antibacterial or scented soap)

   1 cup glycerin
Let it sit overnight if possible.
Since you are outside, try to be in the shade for better results.

We have an outdoor event coming up at an amusement park and plan to do family 
friendly, "science of bubbles" activities. Does anyone have tips for making 
really large bubbles, say with hula hoops?
