Nationwide Public School Contest Promotes Science Education

This November, public radio's The Loh Down on Science, in partnership with Howtosmile.org and UC Irvine, will launch a contest for public school students in grades K-12 to promote science education. 

Students will answer daily science questions, with the answers and related activities posted the following day. All U.S. public schools are eligible to compete for the $1,000 cash prize. Registration opens October 21 and the competition runs November 4-29.
