We will be opening the IMAX film "Space Station" in March and have a special opportunity to have NASA Astronaut William "Shep" Shepherd here at the museum on opening day for a series of events.  Shep was one of the astronauts in the film.  I am looking for clever or unique event ideas, or things your museums may have done to promote the film opening.  We are planning to do some kind of family event (perhaps a breakfast with Shep, show the film & follow with a lecture), and an evening fundraising event ($50 for cocktails, the film and a talk with Shep).  I would love to hear your ideas or success stories.
