ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

The Montgomery County, Maryland schools developed a middle school science
curriculum several years ago based upon current events in science. The project
used a combination of USA Today & CNN news stories, science background,
hands-on science activites, and group projects. I thought it was a very creative
approach; some of the same rationale/approach might be used by science centers
for summer workshops or school presentations.
