ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

There's a 3-D immersive environment out there, called Edusim:
http://edusim.greenbush.us/ It's being targeted at K-12 and kids can
interact via smart whiteboards. I have not tried it yet, but I am very
curious. I do see a bit of elitism in the cartoonish drawing tools the kids
are using in the sample videos compared to the more sophisticated rendering
of the "world" itself, but I don't know if it has to be that way or if
that's just what they chose for the video.

Given our extensive discussion of virtual worlds a couple months ago in the
discussion forum, I wondered if anyone had done anything in Edusim yet, and,
if so, what you thought of it.
