ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

I know we've all got the ASTC Conference in Baltimore this October on our minds, but AAM session proposals are coming due in the meantime. A colleague is considering a session about the exhibition "RACE: Are We So Different?" As many ASTC member institutions have hosted the exhibition, I thought it could be appealing to some potential presenters on this list.

Here is the idea and her contact information:

The National Museum of Natural History is interested in submitting a proposal for an AAM 2012 session on developing community partnerships around challenging topics. We would discuss the programming partnerships we developed around the RACE: Are We So Different? exhibition developed by the American Anthropological Society and the Science Museum of Minnesota. In addition to representation from another museum that developed partnerships around the same exhibition, we'd like to include other museums that developed community partnerships in response to other exhibitions and/or projects.

Please contact [Barbara Stauffer at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>] if you'd be interested in participating.
