writer and thinker about museums, Marsha L. Semmel has served as Acting
Director for the Institute of Museum and Library Services, President and
CEO of the Women of the West Museum in Denver, CO, and Director, Division
of Public Programs at the National Endowment for the Humanities, among
other roles.
