UNIVAC was the first commercial computer, built in 1951. This past
September, UNIVAC engineers and pioneers gathered in Philadelphia to celebrate the
placement of an historic marker at the site of the Eckert Mauchly Computer
Corporation. If you'd like to know more about the DVD commemorating the event
and documenting individual memories of digital pioneers, please contact me
offline.
