Hey Everyone:
I have gotten a couple of folks expressing interesting joining this panel(see below) for 2012. Between the 3 of us so far we are covering upper elementary and high school. 

Is there anyone out there who could join us with an example from a middle school program?

Is anyone interested in presenting a session on science challenges/competitions for ASTC 2012? I would like to suggest a panel of folks who have tried and succeeded and/or failed at this to discuss the good, the bad and the ugly of hosting, staffing, funding, evaluating and operating said challenges.

This can include the Science Festival folks as well.

We are in our 6th year of our Celebrate Science: Exhibit Design Challenge for 3rd-5th graders. This is a year-long cross curricular project in which each class is charged with developing a prototype of an exhibit they would like to see in our museum.

It could also be a panel on the formal-informal connection and ways in which we have connected to our formal partners in successful ways outside of the traditional field trips. I am open to suggestions.
