Hoffman Design Works makes a giant flowing bubble machine that was at 
ASTC in Phoenix and Charlotte.  We've had that machine here at 
WonderLab in Bloomington, Indiana for about 4 years and it has held up 
well and remains a hit.  The exhibit allows visitors to create a 
flowing film about 3' x 6' (by spreading cables over which bubble 
solution is constantly pumped) and then pulse air into it with an 
electric blower.  Long bubble tendrils emerge from the film, and with 
some practice large bubbles can be pinched off and released into the
