I'd say to do the same things you'd do in a program in your museum:
* Give people stuff to actually do, not just sit and listen
* Make notes available online somewhere, so folks don't feel like they
either need to take notes or participate in the killing of trees
* Don't read a Power Point to us
* Leave time for questions, and give folks without questions permission
to leave.
* As the old minister said about sermon delivery: "Have a great start, a
great conclusion, and keep them close together."

The ASTC Conference starts in 9 days... any tips for session presenters
on things to do/not do to make for a better experience for
conference-goers?
