Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Hi,
I should elaborate on the post I made yesterday about controversial
science in museums.
I've been trying to find studies or even anecdotes about the best ways
to present controversial science in your museum (especially exhibits).
Does your museum cover controversial science in any of its exhibits? How
are they going? What feedback are you getting from the public?
Do you only discuss the facts? Do you cover differing opinions? Do you
provide an opportunity for visitors to give their own opinions in the
exhibition?
There are 485 postings in the ASTC archives about evolution and whether
we should include the topic in our science centres and museums. There
are only about 25 that give practical ways of representing the topic.
Thank you for your time,
Amy
