Thanks for the great idea - I had never thought about it and wonder if
I can use polyurethane as a preservative -
I'm in the Amazon for two more weeks and I can get polyurethane and a
probably some clear lacquer to make this happen before I leave. All
I can do now is admire the insects. There are prepared cases of
butterflies and beetles available for tourists in Iquitos, but some of
them are protected and I'd have to get a permit before leaving.
Any thoughts are more than welcome.
