Hello,

Try Julie Silverman at the Echo Science Center in Vermont. They have an
excellent weather green screen. You can even record a DVD then buy it later
from the gift shop.

At The Tech Museum, we developed a similar exhibit where visitors choose and
read a speech in the "senate" off a teleprompter. The video is started by
swiping your RFID tag (like a personal barcode), then the video is recorded
and saved on a website. You can view your video online from home, or at the
museum at the viewing kiosk nearby.

For our green screen at the Children's Museum of NH, we use the chromakeyer
from Datavision, which is very forgiving of shadows. We also use a cheap
prosumer camcorder with a 3CCD chip that allows separate encoding of
"green", which works better with a green screen than generic camcorders

Good Luck,
-Eric

Hi Everyone,

The Franklin Insitute is developing a weather prediction green screen and
are investigating different configurations. If you have a weather prediction
green screen, could you please let me know how visitors select a script to
read (if there is a script), where the teleprompter and camera are located,
and how the video recording starts (is it ongoing, motion sensitive, or
activated by pushing a button)? Also, please let me know if we can contact
you for more info.

Thanks!
Rita
