ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers

I'm looking at a project to design and build a model of an aquifer. The unit will be used by a regional water authority and they want something a bit bigger than the typical table top versions for demonstrations. I see many images and a few manufactured versions when I do a search. My question to all of you is what experience you have had with these and what are the things to do and things NOT to do?

Just trying to not re-invent the wheel.
