Hi all,

we have been doing a lot with navy themed programming... we work with
engineers and scientists to develop inquiry-based experiments that they then
conduct with underserved children and their families. We are also in the
process of developing two science education mobile phone apps (for the
iPhone and Android) that focuses on navy themed content.

We have developed content around the following topics:


   - fluid dynamics and animal locomotion
   - fluid (air) dynamics and sea bird flight
   - acoustics and sound propagation (can be applied underwater)
   - boat design


We would be happy to share our lessons and experiences.
