Hi Len,
Thanks for posting. The position of the author is broadly reflective of our emerging understanding of our brains and behaviors. It reminds me very much of research by Jonathan Haidt in the "Righteous Mind." The implications for visitors in museums, and role of museums in societies most likely connects somewhere in our our complex array of behaviors and probably not where we think and would like to imagine.
