Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

For the most basic boo boos the two museums I worked at had a policy of providing band aids and/or ice packs.  These were given to the parent or other adult to apply themselves and NOT administered by staff.

I think it is good policy to have a full first aid kit handy for something serious but that would also mean that 911 would be called.  Having floor staff take a Red Cross CPR class might also be a good idea.
