That's a good question. The package was completed in 1995, and has a
copyright from AT&T (AT&T archives and Bell Labs are credited). It was developed by
Scholastic (I subcontracted to them). It includes hands-on activities on
general communicating, networks and hubs, analog communications and the telephone,
digital communication and the computer, Future Modes (fiber optics, high
speed access), and Future Visions (including internet ethics, etc.). There are
four videos, some posters and a few transparencies included, plus some fiber
optics cable. There's a big fat teacher's guide (my creation, mostly),
supporting worksheets, etc.
It is conceivable (!) that I have the only remaining copy (!!!). If so,
maybe AT&T would allow me to make copies for museum use -- I'd be willing to do
that for cost of copying and shipping.
I believe I still have at least two of the videos, tho my husband's been
using them to teach intro computers to college kids...
Bear in mind, however, that all these materials are somewhat dated.
Lisa
Lisa,
I too would be interested in those materials. Are they accessible on
line or do you have sole possession?
Cheers!
