James Turrell build a skyspace for the Live Oak Meeting, a Quaker Meeting in Houston. As reported in the article. Quakers consider The Light Within as fundamental to their worship. Turrell has also designed a skyspace for the Chestnut Hill Meeting in Philadelphia, a new meeting house that will open in early August. After James  programs the space in September, it will be open at scheduled hours for people to experience the skyspace.
