Hello List,
We are in the process of developing a series of family discovery packs
for a new botanical science conservatory. By "discovery packs" I mean a
checkout backpack with a series of themed activities for families to use
when looking for more (self) guided activities. We plan to have quite a few
themed packs, with about 5 activities per pack. We want them to complement
but not repeat all the exhibits, and to use scientific tools when possible.
Age group focus can vary by pack.
If you have any suggestions for good plant-themed activities that have
(or would) worked well in such a format, I would appreciate your input. It
might be most appropriate to email me off-list.
  Thanks,
        Michael Kerkman
