I too worked with lycopodium for years without incident. However, if I
recall correctly, it is a pollen from an evergreen tree. If I'm correct,
that might explain why some might be allergic. I don't know how you use it,
but perhaps visitors interacting with it could use gloves as a precaution.
Just watch out for the latex allergies!
