ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

projects are many times named for their founders using their name or part of it. I know this is true in scholarly studies and as a professor that is what i am most familiar.
other methods of naming things can be to name after a person who gave to that field or to name some catchy phrase that has to do with the subject matter or maybe something to increase attention like when we name products and services in marketing. hope this helps. just my 2 euro centimes. Edith
