Dear colleagues,

Please reserve July 21-26, 2013 on your calendar for the interdisciplinary Gordon Research Conference on Visualization in Science and Education to be held at Bryant University, RI.  The 2013 conference promises to continue in the tradition of excellent speakers and stimulating talks covering many topics related to visualization and science.  Conference themes are: 

- Complexity in visualization
- Visualization in mobile environments
- Visualization & tools: research applied
- The evolving role of visualization in the teaching of STEM
- Role of visualization in communicating complex science to the public
- Augmented reality and other modes of visualization
- Visualization in the (scientific) workplace.

These topics will be addressed by a carefully chosen group of world class speakers who will address diverse and complimentary aspects of these engaging topics. As is customary at GRCs, plenty of time will be given for discussion and exchange.
