Geoff, 
Many science centres and museums in Canada need to provide labels in both
French and English. Science North does this effectively by using different
fonts on the same panel and by using other design considerations to
minimize the sense of too much text. All of our traveling exhibits have
bilingual labels too.  I can put you in touch with our development team if
