I wanted to let everybody know, especially Texas educators, that the American Meteorology Society has scholarships specifically for educators who would like to host a free booth at the AMS' kickoff WeatherFest event at the 93rd AMS Annual Meeting this coming January. WeatherFest is a large public outreach event that will be help on January 6 at the Austin Convention. They have a handful of scholarships for educators from anywhere within the US. They also offer scholarships for local educators. During the week their are education sessions and two workshops for educators. Learn more at the American Meteorological Society website: http://annual.ametsoc.org/2013/index.cfm/weatherfest/ Contact me offline if you'd like more info. THE DEADLINE TO APPLY IS SEPTEMBER 14.

Thank you,
