ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

What Jeff said. Title test.

Museum/Science Center professionals are not your core or potential visitors. No matter how popular a title is around the charette or committee table, that doesn't mean your audience will like it, gain the necessary information from it, find it on a map, remember it, or react to it the same way your colleagues do.

And title tests are relatively easy and you usually get a good sense of where things are going early in the process.

Rather than each person deleting names they didn't like, you chose, say, the 3 you liked best. So it took the most 'positives' for a name to stay in a round. It was surprising how well it worked - no one had veto over just one idea and what we came out with was consensus.....It was a very positive way to go about it!
