Hello Jim: Hope you had a nice Xmas.
From the Native American conference in Yuma (which was outstanding) I have
the following links which you may want to check out for your websites, all
are concerned in one way or another with cl. change. Those are: Indigenous
Environmental Network (www.ienearth.org); NativeEnergy
(www.nativeenergy.com)--green power, RECs and CHG offsets to their
non-profit partner Clean Air--Cool Planet; Native American Wind Interest
Group which I believe is a part of U.S. Dept. of Energy Tribal Energy
Program (www.eere.energy.gov/tribalenergy), although I'm not sure. You can
look up the name separately to see as I haven't. There is also NativeWind,
which appears to be part of NativeEnergy.
If I find out more along these lines I'll pass it on. The bigger tribes are
really being proactive with cl. change, as you might guess since they've
been with the land for so long.
It's late, got to go.
Shelly
