I've read in some of the O'Reilly mind hacks books that it is better to
teach, maybe introductory, probability using frequencies. Maybe even
going as far as Bayes Theorem. Does anyone know of sources that take
that approach?

In 1993, the attorney Alan Dershowitz stated that
1 in 2500 husbands or boyfriends kill their partner.
            O. J. was likely set free by ratio. However, 90% of
absusers kill the abused. The latter was never
stated by the defense. The two facts are an error
            in logic. Deliberate omission? Likely.
