For the past couple of Halloweens we have done "Countdown to Halloween"
for the whole month of October with special activities each Saturday
based around a Science theme such as "Bugs," etc.  The best thing that
we do, though, is on the Saturday after Halloween we allow people to
bring in their pumpkins and we launch them from a trebuchet into an
empty field - FUN!

Hello, all:

I would be grateful if people would be willing to share their ideas for 
successful seasonal program.  Zoos do zoo lights, botanical gardens do 
holiday conservatory shows.  What has worked for you all around 
halloween, xmas, pass-easter-over, etc?  Thanks in advance.
