BIG FABRICATORS’ WEEK, EXPLORE @BRISTOL, 16–20 FEBRUARY 2004

We have some workshop places still available – see below for course details:-

FABRICATORS’ WORKSHOP, 16-20 FEBRUARY 2004

Open to anyone with an interest in exhibit building, whether experienced or a
novice, Fabricators Week is a chance to try your ideas in the workshop. If
you've got an idea for an exhibit or if you've always wanted to try welding, or
turning, or something else, this is the event for you. Previous workshop
experience is not required, as there will be experienced help on hand.

The theme of Fabricators’ Week 2004 is 'Sport and Fitness' so ideas for sports
based exhibits will be of particular interest, but all ideas will be welcome.
If you would like to attend but don't have a particular project in mind, we can
provide lots of sport and fitness based ideas to play with.

Cost: BIG members, £250.00, Non-members, £300.00. NB Cost includes entrance to
Open Day and Seminar.

FABRICATORS’ OPEN DAY AND SEMINAR, 20 FEBRUARY 2004

The week ends with an open day, including a seminar – title: `Fit to Interact –
How to Win with Sport and Fitness Interactives’. Exhibitions based on Sports
Science are a proven way to increase audiences and reach hard-to-get visitors,
such as teenagers. Topics covered will include: the limits of human
performance; things previous exhibit developers wish they'd known before they
started; and how to keep sports exhibits going day after day.

Cost: BIG members, £25.00, Non-members, £30.00. Buffet lunch included.
