Hello everyone
I have a question. We are working with our new university partner to overhaul our contract for overnight participants.   The sticking point currently is overnights for scout groups.  It has been suggested that each individual troop of scouts that plan to attend  an overnight (we take up to 350 people at an event which means multiple troops at one overnight) must carry their own workman's comp insurance, business automobile liability insurance and commercial general liability insurance or they cannot participate in a museum overnight.  Has anyone else come across this?  Although the councils for the scouts have insurance, at the moment does not seem to be enough.  We are concerned as we think it will be highly unlikely that individual troop leaders, who are mostly parents, will be able to provide this type of coverage.

Any insight would be appreciated!
