A request from a colleague:

We want to have a weather station where visitors can try their hand at
predicting the weather using real data and see how various sensors and
computer models play a critical role. I’d hate to develop something
like this in a vacuum, since I’m sure there are models out there and
good advice people could give us. Has anyone worked on such an
exhibit, or seen good examples? How are existing exhibits working for
visitors? Has anyone done evaluation they’d be willing to share? We
will have people on the floor at set times to help visitors, but the
station needs to work on its own at other times.

Thanks.

Martin
