other organizations, especially resources for Latino students & families. We
will have door prizes & resources bags for all teachers attending, as well as

are willing to share with DC-area teachers, please contact me.

Celebra la Ciencia is a science outreach project developed by the
Self-Reliance Foundation to introduce Latino families and students to informal science
and health learning resources available outside the classroom. We organize
science festival areas at community events and provide hands-on science activities
for communities and schools in the Washington, DC area. A number of other
organizations, such as Smithsonian Museums, the Columbia Heights Science
Workshop, the DC Asthma Coalition, and the Science Museum of Virginia, participate
with us in these events.
