Teacher and author Jessica Fries-Gaither demonstrates how to use nonfiction text as a part of the science discovery process for students and how nonfiction text sources serve as support for their claims and ideas.  (This is a rescheduled date)

10/22: Rigor & Inquiry.
Consultant and author Wendy Ward Hoffer shares some approaches on how to create more rigor in the process of inquiry teaching and how that ties into the Next Generation Science Standards.
