ok, so i've added an additional heater and things are working pretty good,
but still not up to my standards.
 
one of the variables is a tradeoff between temp and cfm.  the original
blowers were 750 deg. units with about 45 cfm.  the new blowers are 1000
deg. at 20 cfm. 
 
here's the question:  the heating elements in the old units are about 7
years old.  does the efficiency of these heating elements (meaning sustained
temp) stay steady or would it decline significantly over time.
 
the reason for the question:  it may be worthwhile to go back to the orginal
blowers but with new elements.
