ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Before you bite on "Mindball", "Brainball", or related products, I suggest
you have an independent neuroscientist (with EEG experience) assess what it
actually does. I don't know what "Mindball" really measures - and its
makers seemed reluctant to share such basic info - but in two different
science centers, I've won games of "Mindball" with the electrodes attached
to my fingers, playing against conscious humans with electrodes on their
heads. (Fingers have sweat glands, but no EEG waves.)

A few years ago, Eric Siegel posted to this listserv a critique of Mindball
from Slate, which (as far as I know) is still pertinent:
http://www.slate.com/articles/technology/gaming/2006/12/bowling_with_brain_waves.html

You might consider offering a related relaxation experience (or game) based
on skin conductance, which is much easier to measure than EEG. And you
can couple that with a video microscope, so visitors can watch individual
sweat gland pores in their skin secreting drops of sweat, to help
understand what's being measured.
