ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

A few years back we worked with our local Triple-A team, The Toledo Mud Hens
to create a series of short videos about the science of baseball. We were
inspired by some video clips about the science of football created by the
University of Nebraska and a freshly acquired copy of Final Cut Pro.

We did everything in house on a minimal budget. We learned a lot along the
way that seems so obvious now - getting good sound is difficult, storyboard
everything before you shoot, film more than you need, be brutal in the
editing phase, etc. The clips were played on the big screen at Fifth Third
Field before, after and during rain delays during Mud Hen home games.
