ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.
*****************************************************************************

All,

The ASTC Lee Kimche McGrath Worldwide Fellowship is available to an individual from a science center or museum (open or in development) outside the United States who wishes to participate in the ASTC Annual Conference hosted by the COSI in Columbus, Ohio, October 13 - 16, 2012. The purpose of the Fellowship is to foster greater understanding among international colleagues and encourage global participation in ASTC. The award is intended to support professionals who have genuine need for financial assistance in order to attend the conference. The recipient will receive complimentary registration to the conference and key events and up to $1,500 (USD) toward costs of travel and accommodation.

Preference will be given to applicants

* whose institution is not normally in a position to afford to send a representative to an ASTC conference

* whose participation will benefit other science centers in addition to their own

* who have limited opportunities to meet professionally with science center colleagues

* who are willing to participate in a conference session, an online forum, or write about their experience or institution for an ASTC publication.

Interested?

Please contact Walter Staveloz at [log in to unmask] to receive the application form. Submission is due by 18 July 2012. The selected candidate will be announced shortly after.

Best,

Walter
