All great suggestions for education research journals!

I find one of the challenges in locating education research in our field
is the multiple definitions of what we do -- informal learning, museum
education, natural interpretation, art education, science education,
out-of-school studies, and so on. Excellent articles can pop up in
unexpected places.

And it's often not enough to subscribe to a university-related online
catalogue of journals as several of the best are not listed therein
(e.g. Journal of Interpretation Research, Informal Learning). However,
at the same time there is a encouraging trend to produce e-journals that
are available for free download on the web. Look for the University of
Leicester's _museum & society_ journal or the Australian _Open Museum
Journal_.

I've taken the liberty of including below an excerpt from the "Print
Journals" review in the latest _Museum Education Monitor_. (Online
journals are listed separately.) The journals listed vary from issue to
issue but it will give you a sense of the wide range available.

Hope this helps!
Chris
